It almost happened. According to this, Henry Cavill was the only actor they were seriously considering but he was only 22 at the time and deemed too young. Nothing against Daniel Craig, but Cavill would’ve made one sexy young MI6 man. And consider again that at one point, Olivia Wilde was almost Vesper Lynd. HOT DAMN.
