As you can imagine, my back has been producing adobo flakes since our return to city life.

Woke up early and explored the stretch of the beach without a camera in tow. Walked back to our campsite and squeezed in time for more fun before our departure after lunch.

Er…I can be lotsa fun (read: embarrassing) when I’m wasted.

We arrived on a weekday so there weren’t any other visitors on the island. Just the caretakers (and there aren’t that many). We stayed with one of the caretakers and his family, rented a tent and stayed overnight. Since we had the island to ourselves, we ended up skinny dipping while the caretakers were busy going about their daily routines. 

Sadly, there are no photos of those shenanigans.

This is Grace. She planned this trip and didn’t have anyone to join her, and Clet and I were the only ones whose schedules were free. I’d do anything for my friends. Even endure a 9-hour bus ride, an hour long trip to a nearby town away from our accommodations, and 90-minute bangka ride to an island with no plumbing or electricity. FYI, I can’t swim.
